All the courses have been 5 credits. Work for the courses includes finding the materials, 12-21 hours of teaching, making exam questions and grading exams, grading essays, collecting feedback and creating web pages for each course.

More than Half the Sky -book is used as part of degree requirements in Asian Studies at the University of Helsinki.
